Finding the forum confusing

Can someone help please.
Ive read all i can think of.
I have posted a couple of times. But when i go back to that thread i can never find my post or the replies. I have to wait for a new post to come up.
I dont know what im doing wrong.

Sharon, to find your previous postings just click on your forum name then select 'show posts'.  Everything you've posted will then show up and if you want to go to that thread again, just click on the title.

I've found a few times that your postings have been doubling up, ie 2 identical postings one after the other so I've been deleting the second one.
