It's gorgeous Kim. Lucky Mum. I see you are using the new 'Naked Cakes' idea. I think it's great.
Yes very handy when you haven't made enough buttercream!

Wow chookie that's a workout for tmx.
Love your friands ES. Could eat them right off the page. Today is mums birthday and this is her cake. Thermomix Easter vanilla cake recipe, creamy vanilla frosting and salted caramel all made in the Thermomix. Couldn't live without it either.

I have been menu planning cookie for the last 6 weeks. Thought I would never get organised to do it but I'm finding it much easier and cheaper. I'm only buying what we need for the week. I deviate a little too but the basics stay the same. Tonight we had jamberie's beef risotto with basil and Parmesan.  Forgot how good it is.

Thank you for the lovely comments. Julie the brioche buns are the EDC recipe. I made them into 15 smallish buns and cooked them in a rectangle lamington tin.  The cream buns are this recipe http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/baking-sweet-recipes/sweet-bun-dough-thermomumma/282040 When cold, cut and fill with cream or mock cream and jam. I used chookies plum raspberry jam.

Love the magic cake cookie. Can't wait to try it.

Yesterday cream buns, finger buns, lamingtons and carrot cake for the Election Day cake stall.

Haven't posted for awhile. Have been busy cooking but not taking many photos (the family are relieved!) Today I whipped up a quick birthday cake. Mud cake, choc ganache and mint cheesecake balls for decoration. Added in some healthy strawberries for a balanced diet
