This recipe makes a generous supply of biscuits - way more than in the picture below.  I felt the amount of cinnamon was not going to be enough, but when the biscuits were cooked, I realised the recipe creator knew better than I did.  The kitchen smelled wonderful when that oven door opened.  (Mind you, cinnamon lovers might feel free to up the amount of cinnamon.)

You are doing such a great job of reviewing this cookbook Cecilia.  I still haven't ordered myself a copy - I might do it now actually.

Making these again, with the grandchildren this time.  Amazing how my thoughts three years later were so similar.  I did not recall I had made these back when the book came out.  It was a bad idea making a recipe that requires an hour in the fridge with a three year old!
