I have just bought 2 croquette extruders from Belgium......1 for my Dad for Fathers Day, and 1 for me  ;D

My Dad & his Sister make the best Dutch beef croquettes, and now I'm going to learn their treasured recipe.
I do know that they cook the beef first in a pressure cooker......which I really cannot find space for,  if I bought one.
Think I'll just borrow my Dads for now.

What an interesting contraption Maddy.  I guess it could be used for sausage roll filling too. Wonder how it would go shaping the pastry for choc eclairs as well?  It would be good if it could be used for other uses too. :D

I want one!   This is MY kind of gadget.   Unfortunately, I don't think they are yet available in the U.S.

I see being able to make my version of "Tater Tots" if I had one of these.

SO BUSTED......
we have a po box.  DH checked it this morning, i get a phone call...... Theres a package here for you, its big and very heavy, are you sure its for us, what on earth have you ordered, well its the Le Creuset pots, of course there heavy they are good quality. What pots, you know the ones i put on your credit card, long pause.... which credit card, mmmm the one i keep in my wallet for just in case.

Anyway i then tried to push my luck a but further i aksed if he would like to drop them home, told no i could wait until this evening. Of course then came the question how much.... Well you get one free, sinks in how much in Myer,  oh way more.... Good, so a good price, and yes one freeeee.

Now he is expecting amazing food baked in the oven from these, so i better start googling.

Oh Hally your so funny. I had a good laugh reading that. So what are you going to cook?  Better make a dessert as well to sweeten him up lol.
And maddy I love how you work ( 50% cheaper) I will have to remember that one. What they don't know won't hurt them.

It works very similarly in our house too.  Less information about prices is sometimes more.  Every month, Ed say "We have no money".  Every month I say "I never buy ANYTHING!" To go with my new Thermie, I did purchase on Saturday a wonderful non stick pizza pan with little holes cut out on its underside.  It came with German instructions which I promptly through away, as I am reading all my Thermomix ones in German!!! (Enough is enough, right?)  And the pizza was so crisp and fabulous.  No doubt you have all been using these for years but as I am new to pizza making, it seemed like a revelation!!
