Yes, I can't wait to settle down soon to have a more in depth play, just have to clean up from dinner.

Because I have an iPhone already, the set up was really quick and easy as the settings are just like my Phone but of course a  bigger screen.  Impressed with the quickness and clarity of the screen so far.  Have downloaded the free app from Donna Hay, can't believe how good the photos of the food look.  I also paid for the latest Good Food uk mag but haven't had chance to open it yet.

I have synced my contacts from my phone so will be abe to send text messages I believe.  My DH said "Does that mean you can use it like a phone?"  I cracked up laughing imagining him holding the iPad to his ear making a call.  :D  ;D

My DH asked exactly that question JulieO. We saw some tourists taking photos with their ipad and it looked so funny.

So can I, we use to go to Cole's cafeteria after school for a spider.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

We used to get them in our little country town bakery when Mum came in to do the shopping. The were 1/-, frappes were 9d and 10d with extra malt. Lucky Mum only came in once a week as we all sat in the bakery with our spiders or frappes.

Good grief :o. I have only been away for a couple of weeks and I have missed nearly 10 pages of shopping. (Maddy you are a bad, bad, bad influence ;D ;D ;D)

;D I went shopping today for the whole day.

I bought a new dinner set, pasta bowls (set of 5), lots of new clothes for me, clothes for kids, belt for DH, DVD's, toys for kids with gift cards.
Hand towels, tea towels,   tablecloth, new pillows,  it was great fun.

Lucky we don't go shopping too much.

Hally I have both. Enjoying the iPad for browsing etc in fact writing this on it now, but use my Macbook Pro for the most part though.  Love the iPads simplicity and viewing the foodie mags is wonderful, I hope more go along the same way as the BBC Good Food UK. The way their recipes are set out is great, love it.

My DH received a $500 bonus from work at xmas so he's put it towards his own iPad (ordered today from Apple) a black one and without 3G..  He can then personalise it to his hearts content.  Something a bit different from the roses I have on my home page.  :D
