Kiss Biscuits
« on: February 26, 2011, 08:14:42 am »
I am posting this recipe without TM conversion but was pretty easy to convert.

Ingredients250g Butter
1 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
3 Cups Plain Flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp Bicarb

Method
Cream butter and Sugar.
Add the eggs one at a time. Mix well.
Add flour, Cream of tartar and bicarb and mix till combined.
Using extra flour roll out mixture and cut out shapes as desired (My kids love my sheep and pig cookie cutters)
Bake in 180 deg oven until golden brown.
When cool you can join together with Jam and ice.

I agree dede, it should be easy to do. Don't forget to blitz the sugar if you're going to make it folks.

I just put 2 & 2 together - KISS, keep it simple stupid!  Do you think that is why they are called that?  In the thermomix KISS would mean throw everything in together. I wonder if that would work (after you've blitzed the sugar as Cookie advised).

Made these again today, I cut them into shapes and ice with colored icing and the kids decorate with different things like 100s & 1000s, choc sprinkles, little icing stars, edible glitter etc. They make a huge mess but have so much fun making them. I will post a photo later.
