I defrosted a pizza base and used that instead of making the pastry. Quick and easy, have added it to my favourites. We both really enjoyed it. Will try leftovers cold as well.

I have a mixture in the 2 litre container in the fridge - based on your recipe Cookie with a few tweaks to make it low gluten. Fingers crossed

Loving the challenge - have never noticed this recipe before. Will make as I have leftover cream to use and all the ingredients. Looks great - thanks for bumping CC.

I made this dish this morning. I have never steamed eggs before, happy with the taste - about time i tried it! I thickened the mushrooms with corn flour, I thought they were far too runny. I don't know if I will make again, it is the type of recipe that is very easy and quicker to cook on the stove. My visitor really enjoyed them.

This tart was very nice cold. It was lovely and spicy, I used some fresh nutmeg grated in as well. Cut the sugar back to about a quarter, and added 60g nuts to the base. It was still quite sweet and everyone said they enjoyed it. I took note of previous posters and sliced the apple. Oh, and it was GF, used quinoa flakes instead of flour. No one realised it was low sugar and GF

That is strange Kimmy. I had never had such a mess before either. I used a tin of coconut milk - not sure what brand, but probably TCC, as I really like its flavour. Elle

I would like to try this, need to cook something for tomorrow morning. Can anyone comment does this taste OK cold? Or is it best eaten hot? .

We enjoyed this, the sauce, chicken and veggies were lovely. However, I ended up with a big cleanup from this meal. The coconut liquid was all over the TM lid, and it was over both the varoma trays. I didnt add any other liquid, and didnt need to empty any liquid out.
The quinoa had milky coconut globules on it as well. I gave it a good stir to hide them.. The leftover quinoa made very tasty savoury breakfast muffins
Will make again. It is very tasty.

I cooked the double quantity of oats in a bowl in the varoma, 1 litre tap water, 30 mins varoma, speed 2. Took 2 mins to put on, stayed in bed after the alarm went off. It's cold today! The porridge cooks well, I give it a good stir, and it's creamy. Very impressed how easy it is and how easy the clean up is.

I made a double quantity - realised I do use another 1/3 cup water per serve for soaking the oats. It worked really well, after giving it a good stir and cooking for 20 mins. Will try tomorrow with not boiling the water before adding to the TM,, but increasing the time to 30 mins. Very easy cleanup, can turn on the TM when I turn on the coffee machine. Thanks Penny

Thanks Penny, will try this in the morning. Interesting idea... I presoak my oats, but otherwise use the same ingredients as you, without the salt. I always use the TM, clean it on automatic pilot, but like the idea of not having the bowl to clean.

I love the one from The Indian Cookbook, this one sounds great for a make ahead dessert. I have never made an 'ice cream' dessert in the TM, that could be made ahead. Have always made them at the last moment. Thanks JD, will try this next time we have an Indian night.

Made for dessert today. No medjool dates, so i soaked dried dates for 10 mins in boiling water, drained well and used them. This is delicious 5/5 from us. Linked JD
