Honey directly from the hive is always  extra tasty. I see where Amanda lost her bees with the heat she had. Poor things. Alyce Alexandra has some too.

We were able to taste the honey on the frames as it was removed from the hive.  It is light and floral.
It is blissfully cool today, 23 degrees.
Dr appointments today.

Robyn and Gert ... how are you getting on with all that rain?  It looks horrendous from down.  What a strange country this is ... you have too much water to cope with and we are once again in drought (or near enough as doesn't matter).

CC, snow sounds great (until it melts then freezes, then I don't like it so much).

We are beginning our warm up today. I think it’s going to be about 32 increasing as the week goes on.

The snow was washed away by the heavy rain overnight. It’s now very misty.  I could do with some of your sun girls. It was very muddy walking Chance this morning.  Rain is predicted on and off the rest of the week.

CC, it was very interesting watching him servicing. the hive.  Nice also to know we have nice bees and not angry ones.

Bees are so important to us all.  It's great to hear that yours are behaving themselves, Chookie!

Warming up here. There is a bee programme on TV tonight. I have bookclub but I should be home by then. I think it was Landline that was saying how devastated ;things would be if we didn't have the bees.
Amanda posted a picture of all her dead bees, it was so sad.

We have a bee lady coming to our Probus meeting later this month cookie so that should be interesting. She’s bringing some bees and honey.

Hello all, been so busy. DH doing alot of cooking dinners, while I am at work.

Marina, we have had some rain, but no flooding like Townsville.
Roads are closed at Townsville, so no freight for us till roads are cleared.
We get thunder storms out of no where, but our dam is now full, which is great.  :)

We used to have bee hives years ago, that fresh honey tastes so good.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
