Macadamia and Chocolate Cookies
Makes 30-35 depending on size
Ingredients
½ cup butter, soft
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1½ teaspoons vanilla
2 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon carb soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips, white, milk or dark or a mixture of all 3. You could even try caramel chips.
130g macadamias, roughly chopped by hand
Preparation
Set oven to 1800C.
Prepare oven trays.
Cream butter and sugar on speed 3 approx 1 minute.
Add egg and vanilla, speed 2, 10 seconds.
Add flour, carb soda and salt and use  :: until it just comes together.
Add choc chips and macadamias and use :-: until just combined.
Place teaspoons of mixture onto prepared trays and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Leave on tray for 5 minutes and then place on a wire rack to cool.
Tweaks
DD made these hence I don't have the weights, sorry. The recipe is in the latest Coles magazine.
If you wish to chop the macadamias in the TMX you will need to be very careful.
They are different to the other recipe on here and have a lovely taste.

ES - I recently made these with the following weights:
115g butter
50g brown sugar
1 egg
Squirt of vanilla paste
300g plain flour
1 teaspoon bicarb soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
150g choc chips
130g macadamias

The mixture was difficult to form into balls as it was very crumbly.
Next time, I might increase the sugar to 75g and reduce the choc Chips and nuts to 100g each.

Yes my list is enormous too. I write things down but then they get superseded. I will have to be thermomixing until about 120 to get through my list as it is.  :-X
