Lemon Sugar Glaze for Carrot Cake
« on: October 14, 2011, 02:16:29 am »
I have made the Carrot cake from the Traveling With Thermomix Cookbook.
Does any one have a recipe for a lemon glaze for Cakes?
I have tasted this cake with a glaze.
Thanks every one :)

I'd just use icing sugar with a little lemon juice to get the consistency you want.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

That's all a lemon glaze is Bootobethin, I found these quantities for you.

Remove cake from pan and while warm top with a lemon glaze made from 1 cup icing sugar and the juice of one lemon. If glaze is too thin add a little more icing sugar.

Thankyou to both of you.
The Glaze was great.
With the right quantities it finished the cake off nicely.
