Well done Judy.
I have a loaf of bread and 3 large rolls rising/cooking at the moment. They are from Tenina's new book, however I have made them before.

Cookie, how is Tenina’s bread different ?
I thought I might make bread rolls that are dropped in to a pot of hot water with added carb soda before baking. I’ve posted the recipe so must check it out.
DD loved the SD olive bread. She has been paying $10 for a small loaf. She like to eat it smeared with Avacado and topped with cucumber slices.

It's not really that different Chookie. She makes a roux to begin with and uses all buttermilk.

Cookie, those rolls look delicious.
Megan Jane posted a recipe back in the dim dark ages called Tang Zhong bread. They were made with a roux but had butter and water as the liquid.

Delicious looking bread and rolls Cookie.

Your rolls and bread look delish Cookie.

So far today I have made Bible bread, Oatmeal crunchies, Weetbix slice, Icelandic banana bread and the Bimby chocolate cake is in the oven. Still to do is the Lemon butter, Kiwi fruit and apple jam and Spelt bread. Then I'll think about dinner  :P

I'm loving all of these ideas and seeing everyone's photos and descriptions is making me slightly envious! My oven is broken at the moment.....so it's really affecting my cooking :( Luckily I have an air fryer that I can use for some things....but I'm very limited in what I can cook in it.  :'(

Keep posting so I can get my cooking fix!!!!   ;D ;D ;D

Gayle you have been really busy.
Blackwood that is awful. I had to exist without an oven for about a week and I had severe withdrawal!

BBQ last night, so I made Nagi's crack bread, which was a huge hit and really delicious, as well as a zoodle side dish which also turned out well.  I will post the recipe shortly, I just have to chase up the attribution first.

Same here.
Blackwood, if you have a stove top and AF you can cook almost anything. There are good reference posts here on the Forum.
I often cook scones and cup cakes as well as a small chicken.

Today I am making more SD. It flowed over last night. I now place it on a tray.

I made a Haigh's Hedgehog slice yesterday and when we got home from the car display today I whizzed up Tenina's Aunty Debbie's Banana Bread. I'm visiting a friend at her school tomorrow and of course some morning tea is required.

All sounds very nice Cookie.
I have been making lots of ice cream in AA silicon moulds. Some with Peppermint Crisp crushed and stirred in, some with Flake and some with Chocolate.
I have 3 SD loaves on the go. Will bake today. I mixed then in TMX without washing bowl in between.
Plain white with added grain and seeds, white with 1/2 Spelt, and white and Spelt with olives.
