I have been stalking this forum for a while, but no more. My thermomix arrived at 4pm today. Yay. I am a little intimidated by it, but will soon get into the full swing of it.
I live in Victoria, have a 4yo and 5yo and another one due early June. I just don't know what to make first there is just so many options. I think it will be porridge or smoothies for breakfast ;D

Welcome to the forum Mashly. What ever you decide to make first in your new TM have fun :)

Welcome to the forum Mashly, I can remember being to scared to use my TM when it first arrived. I spent a lot of time reading the manual before I was game enough to actually make anything. But once you start there will be no stopping you. I have a family of 7 and they couldn't eat everything I was making in those first few days lol. 😃

Hello and welcome Mashley. Don't be scared, we have all survived the first few days without too many war wounds. :D

Hello Mashley, welcome to the forum. I was intimidated by mine in the early days too so you are not alone there. It doesn't take long to master it though especially if you choose some recipes from the forum. If you've been lurking you probably know this forum back to front so not much point giving you links as we usually do to newcomers. Let us know how you go.

Hello and welcome to the forum Mashley. It is hard to decide what to make first.
I had to freeze a lot of my thermomix cooking in the first few weeks because I made so many things.

Have fun with the new beastie, And how on earth will you wait for tomorrow morning.?
I had to test mine within minutes of unwrapping. LOL. Even if all I did was just heat some milk for frothy coffee.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone. It's been a busy thermomix day. Smoothies with banana, oats, nectarine, blueberries and honey for breakfast, hommus with lunch and then steamed salmon and broccoli for dinner with beetroot salad followed by Forrero Rocher icecream for dessert. Mmmmm.
