I seriously think it is worse than before. Disappointing as if guests or members are looking for recipes or information they won't find it.  ???

Hello to all

Trying to change the font color.

As for the search, I tested several times and it worked, can you please post some image of the error?

Thanks

I guess that the search feature chooses one word and goes with that.  Google turns up better results than the internal search engine.  Can you incorporate a google search within the forum? So, google only searches the forum, not the net?
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

MM & Admin, I haven't had reason to search for anything on the new forum until today.  I wanted Tuna Noodle & Corn Casserole.  I searched in the appropriate topic, Seafood & Fish using the exact name of the recipe.  Firstly it wouldn't accept &, I had to use 'and'.  I was then given a whole heap of information I didn't need and my recipe was No. 8 on the list provided.  It then proceeded to give me the whole recipe and all the comments our members have made.  Is this really necessary?  When we're searching for a recipe we only want the link to that particular recipe where we will find all the information we need, not every recipe that has the word tuna or noodle in it.   I can see now why our members are not happy with the new search engine, Mr Google gets it right so it would be appreciated if our forum could do the same.U

I later tried searching for it from the Home Page but although there were mentionings of it from those who made it, you couldn't click on the name of it to go to the recipe.

I also tried searching for it again in Seafood & Fish and this time it was the only one on the page, albeit that long version I spoke of.  Maybe because I've been in and out of that topic a few times this morning, it has now realised that it's the one I want LOL.

Admin can you reduce the size of the ads at the RH side of the page?

Uhm..

As for the search, I have to check with the "makers" of the forum motor, but the problem in your search was the "&", it does not like one char words.. :(

And it search in all the text of the topic so that's why you get a lot of hits.

I will to try to see if it's possible to have a better search, or at least one that is more similar to Mr. Google. :)

As for the ad, Mr Google suggests that size, and that's why we use it. :(

Such a shame it can't be rectified because it's really dominant. It cuts the heading off at the top of my iPad so it reads        *rum
                                     *romix.com
I'm not the only one who hates the size of the ads.

I don't think I have ever been on a site that had 1/3 of it's page occupied by ads.  Very annoying.

I still don't have a Thermomix heading on my iPad, am I the only one?
