Thanks andie, have printed out a couple of things there to try. The birds' nests recipe - I'll just use the recipe for chocolate spiders on the packet of Changs' Fried Noodles and mold them into nests. In fact that will be a job for GS when he comes next week - getting down and dirty pressing chocolate covered noodles into a muffin tin will be right up his alley. The hardest job will be for me to keep his fingers out of his mouth during the process
The Italian Easter Bread looks nice too - I would serve that with a chocolate egg in the centre and not bother with the real egg step.

birds nests look great.
Great for my kids. Also the rainbow eggs, worth trying too.
Thanks,
Robyn

JD I saw a Youtube clip that made these using shredded coconut and melted chocalte. Looked simple but messy.

We did them with the fried noodles Dashingden, it was messy but it worked well. I found the tiny speckled eggs so ours looked just like the picture in the link. Should have taken a photo but they all went home with him - I put them in cellophane bags.
