Recipe Review Savoury Potted Cheese FFS page 38
« on: March 01, 2012, 12:26:49 pm »
Made this to take to a friend tomorrow, well 1 of the 3 pots is for her.  It is quite a rich mixture but I will give more of a review after I have used my pot.  I did try some spread some on a fresh piece of bread with some tomato but I will also use it in different ways like adding to steamed vegies, scrambled eggs or mashed potato perhaps.

Was the initial taste nice Judy?

It's got a very strong taste Cookie on it's own but I've just tried some on crackers.  Potted cheese and tomato,  cheese & vegemite, cheese and caramelised garlic and cheese and Maggie Beer's beetroot jam - the latter being a good marriage and by far my favourite with the caramelised garlic one coming in second. I will try it in other ways and post when I have done so.
