Recipe Review Artichoke and Potato Gratins - For Food's Sake

Artichoke and Potato Gratins. Page 68

These were excellent, i made 3 ramekin dishes.
Cooked for 1 hour perfectly, then 5 mins to brown up.

1 used the Gremolata on 2 of the gratins, it really gave it a punch.

I put 50mls of cream in each ramekin with 1/2 the cheese, next time I would add a little more cream. I used low fat cream so maybe thats why it was a litte drier than I am used to.

Excellent recipe, woud impress friends.

Hally

Just had the last one today for lunch, zapped in microwave & still tastes amazing.

I made a half recipe of this today which made 3 serves.

We both really enjoyed it and it went well with what I served it with.
(whiting dusted with flour and lemon pepper seasoning and then quickly pan fried).  A tossed salad finished it off.

The gremolata really made it and I would serve them both together again.  :D

Thanks Tenina, it's really nice lukewarm too.  We split the one left behind a bit later otherwise there would have been a fight!  :D
