I am not a prolific porridge eater, perhaps twice a year during winter but this recipe sounded so tasty I thought I'd have it on this rather warm morning. DH will not eat hot breakfasts so I quartered the recipe for 1 serve (which ended up 2 serves for me) and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  The smell as it was cooking was very enticing, it needed very little brown sugar added because of the sweetness of the banana & coconut and as I like my porridge a bit runny, I just added some cold milk to the serving bowl. I really enjoyed this.

I love this porridge!  The banana just adds so much flavor to the porridge.

This is the best porridge.  Ever.  Made a third quantity just because it was easier to do the maths than for a quater and was worried that the recipe wouldn't work in a smaller batch, but it totally did, and I ate it all my self.  Delicious.

I halved this recipe to have over 2 mornings.  Reduced the cooking time by 2 mins and I didn't need to add any brown sugar at the end.
I added a few fresh blueberries on the top just because I had some, otherwise nothing else is needed.  So yummy.  Really lovely and will be made again.  :)
