I made this yesterday afternoon. I added 2 tablespoons mango vodka to it to stop it setting too hard. OMG. I licked the bowl, the icecream beater and then had a couple  more spoonfuls. It is bright orange and delicious. I didn't have any evaporated  milk so used all cream.

It helps keep the icecream soft. That is my story and I'm not changing it. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D You can't taste it. ;)

;D ;D ;D Well done Cookie1! I'm glad you liked the recipe but as I mentioned in a previous post, the taste testing is absolutely critical to the entire process. As for the mango vodka,I'm going to have to try that as well in this recipe- besides, you have to test everything (vodka included) to make sure it hasn't gone off, don't you??

This is delicious. I also made a strawberry choc chip version as I still had half a tin of evaporated milk and some overripe strawberries
