Last night I was privileged to be sitting next to Antonio Carluccio at dinner here in Melbourne.  He is here for our Food & Wine Festival and is going to Adelaide and Sydney for some functions next week.

I had taken out my various copies of his books and found that I have 2 copies of "Passion for Pasta".  I had him sign it and so now, ... if anybody would like a slightly used, but still in very good condition, signed copy ...

POST a recipe in the forum ....  it can be the simplest thing ... I am not looking for inventiveness, creativity, just recipes to fill the forum.

OR ...  review a recipe from the pages here or in a TMX cookbook that you have - any book from UK, Australia.

Like last time - 5 "tickets" for a recipe and 1 ticket for a review.

It is simple - but just designed to make our forum more valuable and even more interactive.

DEADLINE is April 23  -  so get to work in the kitchen or on the computer.

Buona fortuna a tutti !!!

Sorry, been out of contact - now sitting in transit in London Heathrow.

Did an Excel spreadsheet with 5 numbers for recipe, 1 for a review and then used a Random Number generator program to pick the winner.

Not surprisingly, considering sheer volume of numbers - judydawn won.  Congratulations.

You'll have to wait tho' til I return home at end of May.

Well, that was a surprise Thermomixer.  Had forgotten all about that competition for Antonio Carluccio's pasta book.  I rarely ever win anything so it is a real thrill.  DH was excited for me too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks Cookie1, now I know how you felt when you won the cooking competition for March although there was much more skill involved in your win than mine - I just went about my daily routine of postings, forgetting all about the book prize :Smiley :Smiley :Smiley

Thanks Meganjane.  Love your little reference to wine under the posting.  That was the only thing that spoilt my lunch today - I didn't have a bottle in the fridge to enjoy with the meal. Grin Grin

Have today received My Antonia Carluccio pasta book that I won from Thermomixer - thanks indeed for that TM.  Now, I wonder if I will be able to convert any recipes for the TMX Huh? Huh? Huh? I'll have to have a good read of it first.
