So it turned out thick and luscious like the picture in the book Hally - even using a light cream?  Did you take a photo?

No i ddnt. Came back from lunch after telling boys no desert here desert at home,  wait till you get home. It was hoed into while i was still  serving up. Served up in glasses, yes thick and luscious and i poured cream over the top. If theres any left, will take a photo, but think there might just be scrapings in the bowl.  Too good not to eat immediately.

Better than no photo though Hally - it gives an idea of how thick it is compared to the one in the EDC.

Made this yesterday - first time making a mousse so not sure what it normally looks like (I rarely eat it either because for some reason I never liked it).

Having said that, it was a quick and simple recipe which tasted delicious!

For some reason. it looked 'speckled' like the egg white didn't incorporate/dissolve into chocolate mixture. Did I do something wrong or is that normal.

Here is a photo with frozen raspberries (straight out of freezer):

Made this tonight - delicious!! Mine was a bit speckled as well - but it tasted devine.

I only used 180g of chocolate because thats all I had - and I thought it was quite rich (didn't stop me eating lots though!). I think next time I would reduce the chocolate slightly more again.

Here's a photo - I made 4 serves of this size...so quite large. Probably better to make 8 smaller serves and serve with some raspberry sauce or something like that.
