Recipe review - Lassi MWOC Pge 292
« on: August 21, 2011, 05:17:15 am »
Not for us I'm afraid.  Made half quantity to use up the last of my batch of yoghurt, tasted it and thought YUK so read on and found you could vary it in different ways.  I chose the banana option although doubled the quantity of frozen bananas to what was suggested.  Better but still not for us.  DH drank half his glassful so I at least got some goodness into him. He will try anything if I tell him it is good for him  ;)

For those who haven't got the book, Lassi is made with plain yoghurt, water, ground cardamom, sugar/honey and lemon juice and is apparently very popular in India.

I love mango lassi - usually just make it with a stick blender using yoghurt, water and mango, very quick and easy.
