« on: July 18, 2011, 01:51:26 pm »

Made this spread for the kids snacks, one said that it only tasted like hazelnuts. I realised after that i made it with milk choc not dark choc, would that make much diff tot he taste???? Trying to please all kids, so far one will spoon straight out the jar other not overly keen....

There are a few threads on here Susie about it, I will see if I can hunt them out for you. I use a mix of milk and dark chocolate as only the dark is too dark for my kids and the milk doesn't do enough.

Mine also like it smooth so I have to liquify the nuts. I learnt that from the other posts, so off to try and find them for you.  :)

I made this yesterday exactly to the EDC recipe.

Kids dont like it and keeping it in the fridge - it sets too hard to spread.

Probably wont make it again and now wondering what I can do to use it up!

Farfallina has these recipes using the spread.
