We had a recipe from Tenina's Dinner Spinner. The Chicken with Vietnamese Salad. I'd forgotten how nice it is.

That looks so good, I want to try it but I know it's wasted on my girls. We had chicken kievs with mashed potatoes and peas tonight. Tomorrow we'll be having steak and salad, I'm prepared!

Sarah, did you make the chicken Kiev recipe from the Forum?
Standing rib roast for dinner tonight.  Still working on big freezer. Will steam a mixture of veggies in Veroma.  I shread kale and sprinkle over veggies, then food it through. I have found this the best way to use it. Mango fluff to follow.

No, I've never done that yet, it was a pre made one from the butcher. I really should do it though!

We are going out for a family bbq tonight - I have chicken fillets marinating now, and will also take a salad and sausages. Bread rolls from the freezer. Not sure what the others are bringing.  :D

I'm making Quirky Jo's Heuvos Rancheros from her book. It makes enough to freeze half for another time.

All the food sounds lovely. Last night we had Mushroom and Feta strudel from The Convenient Vegetarian. It uses filo pastry and when I went to use mine it was useless. It just broke into tiny pieces. I wasn't impressed so whizzed up some short pastry to use. I will put a review up for it.
