I think all ours tastebuds are refined to good food now.I recently was given a piece of cake that wasn't "homemade" and it was dry and very sweet.

Definitely one of the perks of belonging to the 'cult'  ;D

Thank you all. I'm sure we will have a great weekend.
I agree CC, we now find anything we buy or are often given so very, very sweet. Definitely a result of being part of 'the cult'.

It must had been so disappointing for you Kimmy.I think all ours tastebuds are refined to good food now.I recently was given a piece of cake that wasn't "homemade" and it was dry and very sweet.

Have a good weekend and enjoy the weekend Cookie.
I would have to agree with you CC, I was given an iced vo vo biscuit today with my coffee and it was awful, not at all like I remembered them when growing up.
Cookie, hope you enjoy your weekend  :)

How are you finding the low carb diet Uni.  I miss baking bread and other treats. Pasta looks yum, miss that too.

Nothing; oh well perhaps I had better go and make something seeing as I printed off a recipe about an hour ago. This forum has been the cause of quite a few burnt meals lately. Must get my cooking spirit back again. Bye from me.

The forum can be very distracting. Especially now that I have to use my brains to navigate round it.
