Thanks Uni. The zucchini spaghetti looks lovely.

My son can't believe what we eat, thinks we have gone all "hippy" since he left. Cauliflower rice, zucchini spaghetti and lentil bolognaise to name a few.  I say it healthy eating.  Don't know if he will come back for dinner!

Uni that pasta looks great. What type of sauce is it?

Bedlam, I've introduced a lot more lentils into my dishes and both DS and DD have decided they really like them and actually ask for the pasta bake which includes them. DD has found a love of homemade baked beans which I'm really surprised about. I can't get them to eat the cauliflower rice but they don't eat cauliflower so I wouldn't expect them to but I'm sure one day they will.

Obbie, I don't give my kids the choice, I'll cook meals that we all enjoy and add a few extra ingedients that they can pick out if they really want to but otherwise they have cereal for dinner or make their own. DS eats quite a lot of cereal  ;D but I haven't seen DD have cereal for dinner for a long time. Every now and again they both decide to team up and make their own dinner (rarely) fi they really don't like something, and they make mash potato with a can of corn kernels, a tin of tuna, a couple of handfuls of peas and cheese all mixed together - quick and easy for them to make on their own and it's been a favourite since they were both in kindergarten.

Not a problem with my DS as he doesn't live at home but I do find it funny.

Great pasta Uni.

Loving the sound of your meals Bedlam. Nothing wrong with hippy.  :D When we were away, we went to Mullumbimby, just beautiful, what I think a country town should be - wide street with a division strip down the centre of the road and a war memorial. Not as touristy as Byron and a bit more main stream than Nimbin.
