Your lasagne sounds delicious gayle. Their appetite sounds expensive, but better to eat good honest home cooking than prepacked rubbish.

Pies sound yummy!

I'm on a mission to rid the pantry of things that have been in there for a looooong time. Tonight is a packet/kit of enchiladas. I've not used packet food in so long that I feel almost sick at the thought of eating them, but equally I don't like to waste perfectly good food. I've also found a burrito kit....might be another meal for this week I think.

Lovely Uni. Pantries seem to like hiding things, mine certainly does.
Tonight we had Chicken, Ricotta and Spinach Cannelloni with Chookie's 2 second salad. We loved it and it will be made often I think.

We had some of the Bruny Island cheese for nibbles and also the marinated sardines. Both were delicious. We chose the cheese called Jack's Dad as it was described as a pongy cheese and it certainly was. DH was complaining that something in the fridge was really off. He eventually tried the cheese and really liked it.
The sardines are from WA and are very nice.

I've been procrastinating and haven't got anything out of the freezer yet. It will be chicken something.

DD decided to cook dinner tonight. She used the iPad and selected a recipe fromTaste for a bolognaise. She made it on the stovetop, but did use thermie to chop the veggies. I even showed her how to clean thermie ;)
