Name of Recipe: Strawberry Sauce
Number of People:
Ingredients:
500g Strawberries, washed & hulled
250g sugar
1 lemon, peeled, seeded & quartered
optional - 1/4 cup alcohol such as brandy or vodka or
optional - flavours such as vanilla essence

Preparation:
cook for 35 mins on 100'c speed 1.
placing the varoma over the top instead of the measuring cup will prevent splattering (thanks pam!)
pour carefully into sterilised jars or bottles and refridgerate

serve over icecream or crepes

so are you saying that the jam recipe is yet another that does not work!!???
before i go trying to make plum jam when the plums come in, is it worth it? or should i just do on the stove

we weren't able to get any pectin / jam setter so not sure if that would help at all. you can't make much at a time (see my flickr for why you can't put more in http://www.flickr.com/photos/brazen20au/3106486644/in/photostream/ ) so you wouldn't be wasting many plums if you had a go and experimented...
