Gorgeous ES. Will copy your idea for my next dinner party. Did the pudding set completely? A few posts mentioned problems with the setting.

I had no problems with it setting BZB. I made it just after lunch, and we had it  about 8.30 that evening. ;D

JD! Thanks so much for collating the comments under the recipe. It makes such a difference not having to troll through all the comments to find the relevant ones.

Thanks courton, it's a huge job and we three moderators are working on all topics as this is one of the things our members requested in cookies' Friends, Romans and Countryman thread.  Glad you appreciate it  :-* :-*

Yes, JD, it's fantastic of you to take that on!

I'm just wondering, looking at the picture, whether isi uses something other than unsalted butter? It looks like copha, to me. What do others think? It's such a shame she doesn't visit anymore as she'd be chuffed that her recipes are getting a workout!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Thanks MJ. I'll send Isi an email to see if that will prompt her to come on to see what is happening at the moment.

Bumping this for newbies; made this pudding today and it is a winner in our house. So delicious and for a dessert, relatively low in calories.
