I'm getting them down Mich. I thought it best to use them while they were fresh.

Pop some in the a/f topped with garlic butter and parmesan cookie.  I read that somewhere and it sounds delicious.  I remember you being given a heap of mushrooms once before, same person?

Cookie, I've posted a recipe for dipping mushroom slices in egg and then breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.  Very nice. I find it hard to use field mushrooms as the taste is strong.
Kat, love sushi, make it often.  Yours looks good.  Have posted recipe for using Quinoa.

Thanks for the positive feedback on my Sushi, we really enjoyed it.
I made 2 lots of balls for, Cranberry & Pistachio and Coffee, cacao. Both lots in the freezer, they are so handy at Christmas.
I also made the Raw Vegetable salad from this Forum, we had it with fish for dinner.

Great sushi.
I made the Christmas pudding today. A whopping 12 cup one which took 6hrs to cook. Should be enough for us! Also made a spinach and cheese bread twist, lemon cordial concentrate, jelly slice and apple crumble.

12 cups is 1 big pudding Kimmhy. You've had a productive day in the kitchen.
I looked at your Quinoa sushi Chookie. We did use some quinoa in some of our rolls. I got it to stick by spreading a layer of 'Caramelised Onion & Sardine Pate' on the Nori sheet first. Sounds a weird pate, but it is tasty if you are a fan of sardines. Recipe is at empowered sustenance.com

Kimmy, Xmas pud can never be too big  ;D
Kat, sounds interesting.  I was wondering if Chia would help the non rice mixes stick.
Must make the short bread biscuits today. Bought a small box of a good brand, awful.
Made massive pot of Spaghetti Bol with Kangaroo mince. GC and rest of family demolished 1/2.
Saw a nice Nigella recipe for a Xmas cake, might give it a go.
