Am having vissies for Boxing day dinner, and for sweets I am just doing a big tray of different cakes and slices....
On Saturday I did gf Lemon & blueberry cake x2, brownie x2 and royal berry caqke x2, today I have done raspberry and white choc blondies (gf), white choc & raspberry cheesecake slice (http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/desserts-sweets-recipes/white-chocolate-honeycomb-raspberry-cheescake-slice/75608but without the honeycomb) and Berry Crumble bars (http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/baking-sweet-recipes/berry-crumble-bars/168514)

Sorry no pics as I needed to get them all cut and into the freezer before DH got home!  :-)) 8)

Thanks Kimmy, I've been watching his Christmas show but I'm surprised he doesn't seem to have a Christmas cookbook.

Great cooking there astarra, nice to be in front at this stage already.

Early this morning I thought I would make more yoghurt. I always use the UHT milk , the starter from previous batch and 100gm milk powder.
Well  it was half way through the cooking time of 12 mins and I had a call from DH. He had fallen off his bike on his way to work.  He was injured and in shock. Couldn't even remember what day it was. Anyway I switched the Thermomix off and headed out the door still with 5 minutes left to cook.
To cut a long story short, I left DH at emergency, he was waiting for X-rays and cat scan. Went home for a shower etc. I decided to cook yoghurt for remaining time, then poured it into  warm thermo server. To my amazement when I Looked at it tonight, it was perfectly set!
It had been sitting in machine for well over an hour this morning. So I would say it is a very forgiving recipe.
DH is safe at home nursing 2 broken ribs and lots of grazes.

That's not good Katj, poor DH will have a quiet Christmas this year.  Good news about the yoghurt though.

Made Lemon sorbet from TMX 5 book with GD,  last night.  She wants some for breakfast. ,!
Will start on ham today.  Always buy a very large one on the bone from Istra and give most away . Toasted ham sandwiches, or on fresh bread,  for lunch. Ham and salad for Dinner.
Going to make Pineapple and Apricot jam for Ral.
Too hot to light oven so will make small loaf of bread on SC and other 1/2 of recipe as rolls in AF.

Katj, hope your DH is on the road to recovery and it doesn't adversely affect your Christmas plans too much.

I've had an early start to get mini fruit cakes on before work and then there is just some Swedish crispbread to make tonight and then that's the end of gift cooking for me. DD planned to make a hamper for her boyfriends family but although she's full of ideas she struggles on the implementation. She will end up with a lovely KK gift for work and a big hamper for boyfriends family all thanks to my late nights and early mornings  :-))
