Bedlam those macarons look amazing. I made strawberry jam as well and always use a pink lady apple and it turns out and I use about 100g less sugar and a tiny bit of agar powder instead of jam setter.

I cooked roast pork for dinner in my dutch oven on the stove top and made heaps more veges than the two of us would use and then turned them into the gravy; its a Jamie Oliver tip I saw on one of his videos and turns out delicious and just looks like normal gravy but with all the hidden veg.

Amazing cooking everyone. Great pics.

I have finally started to feel stronger and to cook a little again.
Made my springy loaf

Two sponge cakes yesterday, cut into pieces and frozen,  and today two loaves of bread.

Made this one

Also made pastry ready for apple pie. Sorry no pics ATM.

While most of it is not exactly cooking, just thought I'd say what I have so far done in my TM today....

* soft boiled eggs (for breakfast)
* hard boiled eggs
* egg spread
* Chopped 1kg bacon up for cooking
* chopped and sauteed 5 onions
* made a batch of 90 mini muffins from trtlmt ....

Great cooking girls.  Inspirational.
Made a SD loaf,  left to rise overnight.  Ended up with a muffin top.
Making an interesting salad from Green Kitchen.  To go with roast chicken and baked large mushrooms with capsicum jam and olive stuffing, topped with cheese.
Baked stuffed Apples in AF , will make thin custard for them to float on.  Making Frozen yoghurt from new
Book.
Used GF idea and made 2 large crumpets.  Wholemeal SD with sesame seeds added to mix and sprinkled on top.

It looks like you're having fun in the kitchen today Chookie.  Darn it, I was at West Lakes this morning and forgot to look for those crumpet thingies.

Love this thread, so much inspiration seeing what everyone is cooking.
I must try the crumpets, last time I tried they ended up more useful as weapons than something to eat lol. And the baked apples look so good, I haven't had baked apples since I lived at home and mum would cook them, yum y with some custard or Icecream (or both) ;)

You have all been busy. It is amazing how often we use our machines. I made a boiled pumpkin fruit cake today and couldn't use the thermomix. However I had a saucepan, and a bowl to wash instead.
The fruit cake is lovely. It has no added fat, uses egg whites and no sugar. I can't copy the link as I have upgraded to IOS 7 at last and can't copy it. However if you go to Taste.com.au and look for Pumpkin Fruit Cake it is there.
Does anyone know how I can copy links with IOS7 please? I could do it before but can't now.  :'(
