I made a similar korma at the weekend (the recipe from the BBC Vegetarian magazine May or June 2011) - all on the stovetop, though, as my TMX was busy TMXing other goodies and I was short of time and hadn't converted the recipe.  It, too, was delicious and more straightforward to make.  I think anything along these lines would be really tasty, though.  Must admit, I like the sound of the cashew cream in your version.

You are all doing wonderful things with your kitchen miracle - aka thermie.  I am surviving - only just though with the basics being produced - roll on end of term.  Thinking of you all happily posting!!!!!!!

No, I haven't Hally but Thermomixer's recipes are restaurant class so you can be assured they will be very impressive for visitors.  Have a go and let us know, it certainly looks easy enough.

Marina, it was actually you mentioning that you had made a Cauliflower Korma last weekend that got me looking for a recipe (so thank you for the prompt)! The cashew cream was a lovely addition, especially as I am trying to go dairy free :)

City to Surf fun run here tomorrow and we are going to an Afters for lunch at a friends house. This is an annual ritual and usually about 40-50 people rock up. I'm taking a quiche, so I have made butter, sour cream pastry, vegetarian quiche.

This was my first weekend with my TM that hubby bought me for my birthday.  My birthday isn't actually until tomorrow though and he insists that I shouldn't be using it, warning to hubby - don't try to take it away - I'm addicted to this thing already !!

Today I've made

Rock cakes from EDC
Minestrone soup from EDC
Lemon Sorbet from My Way of Cooking

I know they are pretty basic but I'm still a newbie  :)
I do the best I can

Today I made Bimby chocolate cake (Cake and Muffins), Vanilla slice, Choc chip cookies, Blackberry Jam coconut slice, and a fruit loaf that I am still waiting to rise (Cold day here today) I have tried the car, in front of the fire and now in the warm oven. Hopefully it will rise soon or I will give up.
