Does "new posts since my last visit" still exist?
« on: April 19, 2015, 02:41:05 am »
Hi Everyone,

I'm still finding my way around the new site.  Does the new posts since my last visit still exist? I can't seem to find it. I am on an iPad - not tappatalk as I don't know how to use tappatalk.

Thanks in advance.

Right up the top on the right hand side Margaret, click on UNREAD.  That will bring up all the posts you haven't read yet.

It's a little bit like being dropped into an unfamiliar city at first.

Hi Mep,
Download the app for Taptalk on your iPad, its good.  It automatically puts new messages you're following up under your "notifications" list.  I find it very handy :)  It took me awhile to find the "unread" button too :)

Hi Bogie1, I did have the tapatalk app but found it was confusing to use so have deleted it. Perhaps I will give it another go. Is there a tutorial for how to navigate around the app?

Does anyone else find the UNREAD button located at the top of the page inconvenient?  From my point of view, I think it would be far handier if it were taken into line with the      Reply       Modify     Mark unread   etc.      buttons - but perhaps that is just on my desktop and it is more conveniently situated on other screens.

Maybe it would be more convenient located where Chit Chat, Rules & Help is located in the lighter green strip Marina.

... almost anywhere would be better than where it is, Judy.   When I click on <Go Up> the "up" is not as high up as either the lighter green strip, much less up to the very top.

Sounds like that is just my personal preference as I do not think I have ready anyone else referring to that and you can't be making changes just because one person suggests it - unless more subsequently agree, of course!

Actually, after having another look, that light green strip would work as well.
