I had been wanting to try this recipe for a while and what better time to try it than Good Friday?

The mistake I made in the recipe was the make the crepes immediately before the whole dish.  This made for a late dinner!  If only I had made them a bit earlier on that would have been better to ward off some grumbly bellies and the "whens dinner ready?' every 3 seconds.

This is a lovely lovely dish.  The flavour of the spring onion blitzed up in the crepe batter was beautiful.  I was worried the dish would end up too "lemony" but it was perfect.  Did need a goodly amount of seasoning though otherwise I followed it to the letter.  Served with smashed potatoes and salad.  My ten and seven year old gobbled it up!!!  (oh, and us of course!)

A beautiful meal that would impress for a dinner party.

Thank you Tenina for another gorgeous recipe I am sure to make again.  Can't wait to try it with prawns instead of salmon. :D

Thanks for the welcome!

I have lurked on this site for so long and rarely make anything in my thermo without looking it up here  first that I thought it time to make a contribution.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the great recipe review.  I have been meaning to make this since I purchased the book.  Your review makes me wish I had made it yesterday!

Thanks for contributing. That is what  keeps the forum going. I haven't  made these, they certainly do sound nice.  I think it is time I tried them. I will take your advice and make the crepes earlier. Do you think I need to keep them warm?

Hmmm.  I'm not too sure...I'm not a crepe "aficionado". ;)  Mine weren't that big nor pretty to look at but they still worked and tasted fine.  I guess really my time management was poor that night!!
