Hello from Sydney- introducing myself
« on: March 23, 2015, 10:47:15 pm »
Hello! I'm a  Brit living in Sydney with my baby girl :-)

Just bought the thermomix with the aim of  giving myself more time to play with my little one!
I've always made dinners from scratch but I'm told by my sister that the thermie will help me :-)

Chat to you all soon!

Welcome,  glad you have found this forum.  I'm sure you will find many useful recipes.  Does your sister also have a thermie and is she here also?  I find Thermie is a great timesaver but as it has extended what I cook I probably spend more time cooking. (If that makes any sense!)
Have fun.
Denise

hello Sydneybrit, welcome to the forum.  Enjoy your time on here and check out some of our recipes, our reviews will be very helpful to a newbie like yourself.  Have fun and enjoy your little girl whilst the TMX is cooking away in the background.

Hi SydBrit - Thermies are fun for experimenting with. Once you get the hang of converting your old recipes you'll be fine.

May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Welcome to the forum Sydneybrit :)
Totally agree with Bedlam, thermie surely has made life simpler making dinners easy, but I do spend more time experimenting now ;)
How old is your lo? I have got a 15month old..

Hi and welcome Sydneybrit.  Have lots of fun with your little girl and with your Thermie.  I am sure your daughter will love to help - my Grandson who is only two loves to help me cooking with my Thermie and that gives us both time together and gets the cooking done too.
You haven't failed at anything until you stop trying.
