Aggies Heatwave Meatballs.

Don't know,how Maggie came to name this dish . Must have been a hot day as there is no heat in these here meat balls.

I thought the recipe was odd with the cloves but gave it a go.

Turned out pretty bland but I think kids would love it.

The sauce was very nice and it is a useful little sauce indeed

I made Farfallina's Pumpkin & Zucchini Soup yesterday.  It's a slightyly thinner soup than the usual pumpkin soup and the taste is different, probably due to the zucchini.  Next time I might put a little nutmeg in it as well.  We liked it and I will make it again.

I'm still trying to learn how to insert a hyperlink.  Hope it works :)

I had no intention of cooking anything for a few days as I have plenty of leftovers from previous meals but I popped into Mum's and found she had bought herself a 200g carton of sliced mushrooms.  She didn't know why, said they just looked nice so I offered to cook something with them for her.

I found this recipe of Cookie's and used the sauce and pasta component - I hope Mum likes it.  Tasted good to me.

And served it with quick n easy bread http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10192.0. The bread had a bottle of beer instead of yeast and didn't need proving.
It was a quick and tasty meal perfect for a cold winters evening.
