They look nice. I spent a bit of time looking through a couple of sections of the forum today and I've selected about 12 recipes that I'd like to try. That was from 2 sections and not all the pages in either section.
As Jamberie said lots of recipes haven't actually been reviewed. Now I need to decide what to make and find the time. I have a fair bit of car club stuff to do this week, but I will get at least one done. I don't like to be deprived of my cooking time.  :)

I made one of Thermomixer's early recipes for lunch - the Cream of Cucumber soup with prawns .  It's also in FSA on page 50.

What constitutes a review?  Is a review when someone uses the basic recipe but substitutes some of the ingredients?  Or is a review only relevant if made to the original recipe.  ?

If you make an existing recipe, stray from the method or ingredients to improve it or to improvise using what you have on hand Chookie, that's a review.  You will find with some of our early postings that some tweaking is probably necessary as we have learned so much over the years and many of these recipes can be improved.

Thought I'd try Paul's Sweet Lamb Pie as my next challenge recipe.

A very early recipe so I did do my own thing with it ;)  It was delicious.

What a great challenge to look for new recipes that haven't been reviewed. I thought I had copied out every recipe there was and put them in my folders until this challenge and now I find there are lots more to try. I have just reviewed Chelseas Chocolate Chip cookies. Yum.

I am laughing as Judy has selected a recipe I had put on my list. I will still try to get these made an review too. I have a busy week and I didn't even get near my thermomix today. Very sad. Even DH made dinner today.

It is funny. I went back to the beginning of main meals and started from there. I can easily make one or more of my other selections.  ;D ;D ;D :D

Today I made JulieO's Irish Brown Yeast Bread. I made it exactly as JulieO said. It only has one rise and is very easy to make. It uses plain flour which was surprising. It surprised me as the sides and ends were very shiny when I took it out of the tin. Unusually so. I used a tin slightly larger than JulieO suggested. The dough is very wet but that caused no problems.
I have just been bad and snuck a slice. The crumb seems different but this could be due to the plain flour or the very moist dough, I don't know. The flavour is lovely and I will definitely be making this many more times. The recipe has a tiny bit of treacle in it, next time I might try molasses, but I think it is only to darken the loaf.
