Hello!
« on: June 24, 2014, 03:54:47 am »
Hi there,

I've been lurking for a little while but thought I'd better join and make myself official  :)

I've had my thermomix for about 6 months and loving it, I'm not finding it's saving me much time at the moment because ALL my spare time is spent in the kitchen.  I'm loving the variety and healthiness of the food we're making and I'm trying to get back to basics as much as possible (having a go at butter later today!)

This seems like a really supportive forum so I'm looking forward to meeting you all and learning your tips and tricks!

Cheers, Hayley

Hello Haley, welcome to the forum.  We love it when lurkers come in from the cold so please continue to join in our discussions, post some recipe reviews and some of your favourite recipes as well if you've begun converting.  We all know what you mean about being a slave to your kitchen, the Thermomix makes you want to cook and make everything from scratch and there is very little this machine cannot do.

Welcome Hayley.
Haha, I totally understand -I bought my thermomix thinking I could spend less time in the kitchen only to find I spend more time in there...but LOVE it, rather than it being a chore (most of the time anyway).
I love knowing exactly what's in all the food I feed my family and knowing it's reasonably healthy (and the treats are at least just from basic ingredients,  no additives etc.

Look forward to hearing what you've been making!
:)

Welcome Hayley, I agree with everything Judy and Jo have said - cooking becomes addictive when you've got a TMX!  Glad you are enjoying yours and we will maybe look forward to  seeing some of your recipes one day!
