I just squeezed half a lemon into half or full glass of water (apparently warm water is better but I just used water straight from the filter tap) and drank it first thing in the morning before having breakfast.

Hi Judy

Here are some benefits of drinking lemon water:

Other websites list other benefits too. Hope it helps!

Thanks Tasty, that's enough to convince me.  My Mum has always eaten the pIece of lemon on her plate when we eat out and is 91 so although I can't do that, I could manage to get a drink down.

I am amazed of what I learn on this forum. Not sure i could go the oil pulling however the lemon juice sounds very doable. It is suppose to alkalise your body i heard.

My DH is doing the oil pulling as it was recommended to help with mouth ulcers, he 50/50 on whether it's doing anything.

Will do Yvette ... Mouth ulcers are very frustrating to work out what causes them & how to treat them

I agree with this. I have a nasty one at the moment. I think I must have bitten my tongue in my sleep. They are horrible.

Just spotted the magazine in the App Store and was wondering what people thought of it? Do you think it would continue?

Hi Tarasis, nice to see you on again.  Not sure that many downloaded it, hopefully someone will respond though.

Hi Judy, yeah sorry for not being about. Spent the last year doing a German course 5 days a week and a few things fell by the wayside (like finding new recipes & hanging out). Still been using Thermie but basically been cooking the same things as always. :/
