Dried Apricot Preserves For Food's Sake p.16

Dried Apricot Preserves

These are really lovely. We had run out of homemade jam so I thought I'd give them a go. I got 2 good size jars and a bit left over. Like all Tenina's recipes the recipe is easy to follow.
Tweaks
I had to cook my jam a few minutes more before it would set. I did this on Varoma setting.

5/5 from us.

This apricot jam is just wonderful. I made three little pots yesterday and the taste is heavenly - so much nicer than overly sweet shop- bought stuff. Tenina's book is brilliant.

I have also made this recipe.  Very nice,  although a bit thick as jam.  That said,  it is very good for making a filling for tarts.
CC , your jars look very attractive.

I agree this is lovely. We are nearly out of jam so I must make some of this.

I made this again this week and this time added some passionfruit pulp; I bought one of those little jars (145g) and used about 2/3 of the jar. It was just beautiful DH said. We had been to the Dome for coffee and I had apricot and passionfruit jam on scones so had to try and make some. Just another variation of your already yummy jam; thanks Tenina.

I love this idea troupie, thanks. We still have some jam left but will be onto this before long.

Thanks for this review Cookie.  Saw a friend this morning who asked me if I knew of a recipe for dried apricot jam.  You must have read our thoughts!!!
