I've been to the Great Food Show in Exeter today with my SIL.
We attended two workshops. The first we watched Ann Pickard make sugar craft animals for cake decoration.I loved it ;D
The second we watched a butcher from Darts Farm bone a whole turkey and turn it into a turkey bomb.Of course he made it look so simple :D :D

Are you going to put your newly found knowledge to the test Denise?  I'm sure Louis would love some animals on his next birthday cake.

I went to Adelaide's fabulous cheese celebration, Cheesefest.
Kris Lloyd improves on this festival every year and, besides met the maker sessions with various cheese makers, she has a cheese train, fresh mozarella making and live music. The crowd was huge and overwhelmingly young - most under 35. This is yet another example of how Adelaide and South Australia just rock the whole food and wine scene.

I repotted half of my outdoor pots. It was really hard work and I am completely exhausted.  I am sure my plants will love me for it though. ;-)

Oh - I hope its OK that I join the conversation.
