Nikkit, how wonderful for your DD and you have every right to feel proud.   Well done and I am sure thoroughly deserved.  Would love to hear more

Cookie, hope all goes well for you   :-*

Have finally been able to log on here, terrible wind storms, house is still standing with no damage but a lot of trees down. Apparently they are saying a mini tornado went through further down the coast.    Power keeps going off so have to make the most of it.  Pouring with rain  so if any one wants some can send plenty.

How wonderful for your DD Nikkit.  I'm sure she will have a wonderful time.  I remember my days as a guide and then leader and the fun times we had.  Where did those years go !!!!!

I had my hair cut this afternoon and my hairdresser has a salon at her home which is on the top of a hill.  The wind was so strong that it almost blew me over.  Didn't do a lot for the hair do either.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Marie that sounds terrifying. All home now. A CT scan tomorrow for the hip/back and stitches are out. It was a basal cell carcinoma but is all gone now. Very pleased and ready for Tenina's class tomorrow morning.

Gert, sleep well, that is a very early start.

Safe travels Gert.

What a fabulous opportunity for your daughter Nikkit. She will learn and experience so much.

Cookie glad the carcinoma has gone. Scary things they can be. Enjoy the class tomorrow.

Cookie, hope you enjoyed Tenina's class.
Having to batton down the hatches again, another rough night ahead so they are forecasting.  Had no power last night so expecting to lose it again.  Hope it is not too bad.

Finally had our end of placement meeting.  We have said we will make ourselves available after our Tassie holiday.  I know crazy, just feel a need. This time I will NOT take more than 2 siblings.

You must be a little selfish Bedlam and think of yourself and your family.

I went to Tenina's class this morning and loved it. Caught up with Jeninwa there which was fantastic. This afternoon I had a CT scan.

Marie batten down the hatches. The weather sounds horrid.

It's been another glorious day here in the UK and the Agapanthus are flowering at the moment. This one is called Black Panther. For some reason it doesn't flower every year like the white and ordinary blue ones :-\

Miss 12 in Sri Lanka is doing good, we got news last night that she is having a blast, it is hot, so are the curries and she's been eating them with her leader and having watery eyes and red faces!
Last night they were going to be swimming at a rooftop restaurant.

I was surprised to hear anything, as usually we don't get any news at all - but no news is good news! Although we were chuffed that we did get a little snippet last night  ;D

And yes CC - Chilli is keeping the spirits up. I'll do an update in the pet section soon. He is growing heaps!
