Anything goes for Uni
« Reply #33932 on: September 25, 2017, 12:51:53 pm »
We had some very bad news yesterday. The lovely man that drove his Model A to Darwin and we 'escorted' him passed away on Saturday night. He wasn't elderly but just after we got back from Darwin last year in June he was diagnosed with an asbestos cancer. Absolutely horrid, we discovered we had the same birthday too. I thought very highly of him ( as did DH) and we had become very friendly.
Here is a photo of his car and trailer on the road to Darwin.

Sad news cookie.  You will cherish memories of your friendship and the time you spent with him on that particular trip.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your friend, Cookie.  Hold your memories of your time with him close so that in the years to come you can look back on your friendship with him with a happy smile on your face.

Cookie, that is very sad. Lovely photo.
Yesterday was the most beautiful Spring day. We had the Electricians here all day. We now have power points out side and all other power points and lights working.
