Hi all, its been hetic, dad had a heart attack Thursday night, thankfully he was in ICU/CCU, he is much better after surgery.

That's not good for him Robyn. He is definitely in the best place. I hope he recovers quickly.

Hi friends.
Another sunny day but the wind was cold walking Chance this morning.
The clocks went forward an hour in the early hours of our Sunday Morning and it's Mothering Sunday today.

Sorry to hear that your Dad is still poorly Robyn.I hope his health improves.

Good thing Dad was in the right place to have his heart attack Robyn, hopefully the operation has fixed the problem. Scary though.

Hi Chookie, I never log out of the forum but I do know my password as I have to use it quite often during moderation work.

Good to hear your team had a win cookie, it was a cracker of an opening round.  I enjoyed all the matches I watched over the weekend.

Happy Mothering Day Denise.

Obis, best place for your DDad. Hope he comes along well.
Judy, I didn't mean to logout. Have this split screen. Couldn't follow the instructions and couldn't remember my pass word at Cherokee.
Buyer for Cherokee has asked for early settlement. We now have 30 days to shift large objects and make it nice and clean and tidy.
Today saw the bench freezer that I have used for more than 35 years go into the skip.

Good morning everyone, a lovely cool change has arrived here. All hands on deck for the next month Chookie, good luck with the challenge and deadline. Do take time out for yourself today, you deserve it.

That's good news Robyn.
Chookie, just imagine all the delicious food that has been in that freezer over the years. It has certainly been a good freezer if it has lasted that long.

A *news flash* from me, if you never hear from me again I am lost in my pantry. DH offered to build me an extra shelf between 2 existing ones so I have to clean it out. The first job was to sort out the medicine cabinet, as newer ones had been thrown in the pantry, and I wanted to shift them. I had things with a use by date of 2004. I've done one shelf ready for DH to put in the new shelf, however he has popped over to a friends for a moment (1 1/2 hours ago)   Lucky I find it funny. I have pantry stores all over the kitchen.
I think I will make some bread!!!!

Good afternoon everyone.

Obbie, good news your Dad is recovering.

Cookie, I know where you are coming from.  This house looked like a bomb had hit it when we cleaned out the van.  The only things we need to put in when we were going on holidays were clothes and food.  A lot of things went to the local op shop.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Our van is the same Margaret. When we combined the stuff from the baby AVan and the big van we did the same. Most of the stuff from the big van went into this one.

LOL. He was home earlier than I expected. Now I can't decide where I want to put everything. This is my new shelf, it sort of divided the space in 2. I seem to have umpteen types of sugar, flour, rice and goodness knows what. I do use them all though. I will get it all back into the pantry and perhaps go down tomorrow and buy some containers for stuff. Like all the cake decorating bits and pieces DD uses.
