We don't have plagues of sparrows where I live Marie, in fact their numbers seem to be dwindling and I very rarely see any these days, even more rare are the swallows.  DD has swallows at her place though, they poop on everything too LOL, especially the glass fence on the marina side.  I love all birds apart from starlings.

Sparrows are in decline here in the UK.Don't see them here where I live.

Cool here today,  good day for baking. Will make a wholemeal and grain loaf for friends and some more of these uncooked Bliss Balls. Chocolate ones this time.

Hi MF, yes very strange yesterday. I was driving home from Cockburn it was 31c turned into mandjigoodup dr  it started pouring and temp was 22c.  Nice to have dome rain to wash all the dust off the trees.
