Every night after work this week I've been making salted caramel fudge. Batches of it! Moulded into heart shapes.

My DH's sister is getting married tomorrow. She and her partner are both in their 40's, have been together forever and have 2 kids. They decided this year they'd finally get married. Everyone in the family has been given a task - mine being to make a thank you gift for the guests (bomboniere) which had to double as a name place card. She left it entirely up to me what to do, so I decided on fudge.

I've spent the day trimming fudge hearts, bagging it up, boxing it and stringing names in beads. 54 boxes in total. I made 6 boxes of plain chocolate hearts for the kids that are coming. I'm tired now and don't want to see fudge again!

You are a star Katie.  You put your heart and soul into everything you do and do everything so well. The bride to be is lucky to have you as her SIL and for this special touch on her big day. Well done, you can relax now.
