Good morning everyone.  I had an interesting night.  Just before 1 am, as I was almost ready for bed, the darn hard wired smoke alarm started giving me that annoying 'my battery is flat' beep.  I wasn't going to let it keep me awake all night so closed my bedroom door and used ear plugs to drown out the sound. It worked and I eventually fell asleep although I must say I was still consciously listening to see if I could hear this annoying beep every 20 seconds so it took me an hour to fall asleep.  Guess what I'm buying this morning  ;D

Isn't it always the way Judy, it never starts beeping at a reasonable hour.

Good afternoon/evening friends.
Good morning DJ and Europe.

A rainy day here today.Chance and I got wet walking this morning.Only saw one car and another dog walker in the distance today but it is a Bank Holiday so I presume everyone must have been tucked up in bed :D

Glad to hear you eventually got some sleep Judy ;D

Big thank you to everyone that has sponsored me on the walk.

Another win for me this weekend I won the raffle at the farmer markets yesterday lovely big box a goodies. Each stall holder donates something to go in the raffle.
Think I might by a lotto ticket for next weekend.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Ooh, I still haven't done it. Bad me! If I completely forget I will send you a cheque Jeninwa.  :'( :'(

Judy we change the batteries in all our smoke alarms on 1st April, otherwise we would be in the same situation. MIL smashed her smoke alarm down as she didn't like the beeping of the flat battery.  :-)) :-)) At least you didn't do that.  ;D

I can quite understand MIL's reaction cookie, especially if she couldn't get up there to take the battery out.  It is enough to drive you crazy.
