Much better thanks Denise. I am  about 95% there and can now lift shopping bags etc although nothing too heavy as yet.
How are the new house plans coming along?

Getting there, contract signed, lots of decisions to make ATM and money to spend. It will be worth it in the end
Pleased to hear you are almost there. We take our health for granted until something like that happens.

Today I went out to lunch with my DH for the first time in at least 16 months.  The caring staff at his nursing home occasionally take a group of people out in access cabs to local hotels or to the shopping centre.  Today was Geoff's first time going on an outing, they don't normally take residents out in Princess chairs but it worked out well and he really enjoyed his lunch. The hotel was well chosen, staff were fantastic.
