Well, I bought 2 ivory handled butter knives - $1 each. Both for the van. I will get rid of at least 4 items to make room for them.
It will be mostly cookbooks as I have very little to get rid of otherwise. Do you guys want to put them on here? I won't be offended if you don't. I just don't want to be a nuisance.

On our way home after a couple of days in Pt Lincoln.  We went down to see our dtr and grandson and to see The Crows play in their first NAB cup game this season.

We really enjoyed our time as we stayed at the same hotel as the players (Pt Lincoln Hotel – partly owned by retired club great Mark Ricciuto) and while sitting in the lobby waiting for our room to be ready, there were Crows players everywhere!  My head was on a swivel!  Such fit (tall) young men, it was such a thrill to see them all up close.  Ricciuto was walking around too.

My DH who likes the Crows but is not as into footy as much as me was in the lift with Dangerfield, McKay and Sam Jacobs.  He asked them if they were players and what were their names!!!  Thanks God I wasn’t with him, talk about embarrassing!  Anyway, they had a bit of a laugh lol.  :D

This morning I was in the lift with Sloan (my fave player) but was too shy to say anything  :-[
They were everywhere this morning, had to walk amongst them as I was making my way to Reception,  what a hard thing to have to do.   8)  Definitely made my day!

Apparently they are hanging around Lincoln for a couple more days, going out to schools etc, they were very well received in the town.
Anyway, back to reality now.  ;D

:D :D  Glad you enjoyed your weekend Julie and a win for the Crows.  You missed a golden opportunity being alone with Rory Sloan in the lift  ;D

The Sydney boys were in our hotel in Adelaide during the FF, the only one I recognized was Gary Ablett.

Julie, I am not into football and wouldnt know who the players were but one of the teenagers would have pulled out a phone and taken a photo; I would have been too shy as well.

Thanks girls.  If I wasn't so shy I would have pulled out my phone and asked him to share a selfie! Being really shy is a curse some times.  :-\

Reminds me of a couple of years ago on our first trip to Melbourne.  It was during footy season (July) and I was so convinced I was going to see at least 1 AFL player from one of the 10 teams in the state and so wherever we went I would be on the lookout just in case I saw a face that I recognised.  One afternoon my DH said to me, tongue in cheek:  "Julie do you have to ogle all the young guys"  :o  I said "I'm just looking to see if anyone looks familiar.  His reply: "Yeah sure!"   8)  (and no I didn't see anyone).  ;D

How exciting JulieO.  I love my footy too. My DH can't stand it.

I love Port Lincoln too. I'm impressed by all the big Silverado's and similar vehicles.
When I was working we had a couple of West Coast players come out for coaching. They had the team T shirts on. One member of staff who wasn't into football asked one of the players if they knew anything about football and would he help her with her tips for that week. He helped but she didn't win.
