It is indeed Katj. I was feeling so warm I just checked the temperature. It was 32 and 9am. Definitely in for a warm one.

I might be missing in action for a little while. We had a 14 month old join us last night. A real cutie, who isn't suffering from trauma like our last. He had a big day yesterday flying from the Kimberley and is missing his mum who will hopefully join him soon.
As I'm addicted to you all and it is only one, I will probably find the time to say hello.

We've had a massive thunder storm for the last 4 hours. It seems to be moving over now. The forecast is still for 35 degrees so it is going to be extremely humid. Lots of thunder and lightening and a reasonable amount of rain, although I just heard on the radio that the rain hasn't been very widespread.

We had a very good lightning show durning the night, a bit of rain this morning, lost power for about 4 hours. It's been back on for about an hour. Not looking forward to the humidity.
